Coronavirus COVID-19 Update
To the citizens of St. Clair:
On behalf of myself, the Borough Council, and the borough officials I want to thank the residents, businesses, and churches of our borough for their adherence to and advocacy for the guidelines established by the public health officials of the national and state governments in an attempt to stop the spread of the deadly Covid-19 virus.
Americans have lived through terrible times of trauma such as wars, natural disasters, economic depression and recessions, the assassination of President Kennedy, and 9-11. Never before in our lifetimes have we endured a phenomenon such as this Covid - 19 pandemic which has affected every aspect of our lives in ways that we could never have conceived of.
The seriousness of this virus should not be underestimated. We see its deadly progress every day on the television. It is many times more contagious and lethal that the flu and can target all ages of the population with senior citizens especially vulnerable.
We must abide by the recommendations of the health officials at all costs. We must be united in our efforts to stop the spread of this deadly virus no matter what personal hardships or inconveniences may stem from our efforts and sacrifices.
We must all put our trust in the scientists and medical researchers who are attempting to find the means to treat, cure, and prevent this virus and we must all put our faith in God to aid them in their quest so that we may return to normalcy.
